In the run up to the official launch of the DDAFF Alliance during the conference Data Driven Agrifood Future on October 26^th the DDAFF Alliance partners had a first meeting on October 20^th.

Representatives of all 9 partners from the United States, New Zealand, Belgium, Denmark and the Netherlands were present during this first meeting.  The aim of this meeting was to get to know each other and share some first ideas on the further development of the alliance in the next year.

With the Data Driven Agrifood Future conference in prospect and the support that the DDAFF Alliance partners received from their governments to engage in the alliance all representatives are positive and excited to start the sharing knowledge and insights from research and example cases in order to learn from and inspire each other to speed up innovation and integration of a data driven agrifood value chain.
