Noord-Brabant (English: North Brabant) is a province of the Netherlands, located in the south of the country. It borders the provinces of South Holland and Gelderland to the north, Limburg to the east, Zeeland to the west, and the Belgian provinces of Antwerp and Limburg to the south. High-tech and design are combined with high-end manufacturing. North-east Brabant - with Oss, Uden and Veghel – is one of the most important industrial areas in the country. Animal husbandry, farming and horticulture in the rural areas of Brabant still account for a significant share of the economic activity in the province. These sectors are also innovating across a broad front. Via the AgriFood innovation program, for example, which is based on close collaboration with the high tech sector.
